This policy explains how Rise & Bloom uses cookies and similar technologies on riseandbloom.uk, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. Cookies cannot access other files on your device and do not contain personal information by themselves.

These remember choices you have made or things you have already seen, so the site behaves sensibly on your next page. Every one of them is held in your own browser and none is ever sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser storage removes them all.

Analytics
Consent required
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how many people visit the site and whether the waitlist and newsletter signups are working, so we can improve it. This is only loaded if you accept cookies using the consent banner, and never on the Browsing Safely page. It stores its preference in your browser's localStorage, not a cookie. We do not use session recording, do not record what you click or type, and do not track you across other websites. It automatically stays off if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
How to control cookies
You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage and reloading the page. The consent banner will reappear.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete cookies, or alert you before a cookie is set. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
