The Self-Love Journal
A 20-week guided self-growth journal for women healing from domestic abuse, trauma, and emotional wounds.
What's inside
- Weekly intention-setting and reflection prompts
- Somatic grounding exercises before difficult prompts
- Affirmations grounded in real, honest self-compassion
- Moon cycle pages for cyclical self-awareness
- Space for free writing, drawings, and notes
- Evidence-informed framework across all 20 weeks
The four phases
Each phase builds on the last. You move at your own pace, and the journal follows your lead, not a fixed schedule.
Roots
Weeks 1–5
Establish safety, ground yourself in the present, and begin to understand your nervous system. No pressure to revisit the past, just arriving, gently.
Witnessing
Weeks 6–10
Start to see your story with compassion rather than shame. Guided prompts help you name what happened without being pulled under by it.
Reclaiming
Weeks 11–15
Rebuild a sense of self. Reconnect with your values, your voice, and the parts of you that were buried. Begin setting boundaries.
Blooming
Weeks 16–20
Look ahead. Explore who you want to become, what wholeness looks like for you, and how to protect what you have built.
